Need some help to move your website to new hosting?
I have helped lots of my customers move their websites from one host to another. This is sometimes because they are unhappy with their web host and feel they are being charged far too much or they are on very slow hosting.
Some web hosts don’t make this process particularly straight forward either, but this is something I can help organise.
There are many reasons to move a website to new hosting including:
Website is running very slowly – if your website takes a long time to load – then this can be a sign that it is on an overloaded shared hosting package.
Website hosting is too expensive – it is worth having a look at the options on offer to check you are getting a good deal.
Can’t take a backup? A good hosting package offers automatic backups – just in case!
Need a staging site – this is a copy of your website – where you can make updates and test them out, before making them live. Really useful for design updates and also updating wordpress and plugins.
As part of my website design service – I am happy to recommend local companies that I use for website hosting. In my experience you get far better customer service from a local web host than a large company based elsewhere with a helpdesk where you get a different person each time you call (if they even provide you with a phone number!).
I have built up a strong relationship with these companies and know that if there are any issues, then they will be on hand to sort them out.
